Working theory of single screw air compressor
The air compressor is composed of one cylindrical worm and two symmetrical plane star wheels, which are engaged and mounted in a casting. The worm groove, casting and tooth surface of star wheels form a sealed cavity. The worm rotates the star wheels. When the star wheels are moving in the worm groove, the air in the worm groove is compressed and exhausted. The worm has 6 grooves and is separated horizontally by two star wheels into two working cavities, each of which realizes separately suction, compression and exhaustion. Therefore, one single screw compressor corresponds to one unit of six cylinder double action piston compressor.
Compared to the old double screw air compressor, our single screw air compressor has three outstanding advantages .
1)Excellent structure create nice balance.
2)Little gas pulsation, low noise, no vibration.
3)Small in size and good in performance.
